The Carolinas’ Inaugural Renewable Power Build-to-Rent Neighborhood is being launched by Quinn Residences and Palmetto company

Palmetto, which is a green energy platform that uses patented technology to accelerate the uptake of renewable energy such as solar power, revealed that they are going to deliver solar panels for Quinn Residences’ inaugural renewable energy build-to-rent complex, Durham Farms, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Palmetto’s products in the BTR (build-to-rent) and SFR (single-family rental) community development sectors will debut with this agreement. This is another illustration of Palmetto’s continued efforts to provide clean energy access to all households, as well as Quinn Residences’ dedication to constructing high-quality, long-lasting, and environmentally friendly homes.

Palmetto has said that it sees renewable energy as a right, not a privilege. Palmetto is at the forefront of the New Utility Revolution, which aims to democratize energy. The company continues to develop patented technologies that save costs and help disseminate simple energy management solutions. Palmetto is a fully distributed, triple bottom line corporation with employees across the United States. Palmetto’s Get-Solar, Give-Solar project gives solar energy installations to impoverished communities.

Durham Farms has begun construction on 50 of its 207 residences, with a projected date of completion of the year 2023, in the month of January. Quinn Residences is installing Palmetto solar panels as well as EV charging stations and smart technologies such as WiFi-controlled light switches and thermostats, water leak sensors, and doorbells as well as smart locks. The solar panels in Durham Farms will offset a projected 1,247 metric tons of CO2 per year after they are completed. “Quinn Residences recognizes the need of moving to a clean energy future, which Palmetto strives for every day. We are thrilled to partner with the Quinn group to run Durham Farms as both businesses strive to create more sustainable communities “Palmetto Chairman, who is the Founder, and CEO Chris Kemper remarked. “By cooperating with community builders, we can have a larger influence on entire communities instead of one property.”

Quinn Residences CEO Richard Ross remarked, “As a build-to-rent firm, we have an obligation to our investors and residents to not only offer best-in-class residences but to also go above and beyond what is required of us.” “We are decreasing our carbon footprint, giving clean energy to our inhabitants, and offering cost-effective methods that decrease electrical usage by installing our communities using solar technology. As Quinn moves toward a better sustainable future, we remain committed to creating innovative ecologically responsible solutions.”

Quinn Residences is a real estate operating firm that is privately owned focusing on acquiring, constructing, and maintaining dedicated rental communities for a single-family in the Southeast United States.
