Fortnite's Season 8 Week 2 Challenges

It’s hard to believe, but we’re already in the second week of Fortnite’s Season 8. With that comes new challenges to complete. This week’s challenges are noticeably easier than last week. Read through our guide below to get them done as quickly as possible.

Free Challenges

Stage 1 of 5 – Land at The Block

This five stage challenge is self-explanatory. To complete, you simply need to land (from the initial bus drop) at the named location.

  • Stage 1: The Block
  • Stage 2: Dusty Divot
  • Stage 3: Polar Peak
  • Stage 4: Snobby Shores
  • Stage 5: Paradise Palms

Deal Damage to descending Supply Drops (0/200)

This challenge is easier than all the others. To finish, shoot at a Supply Drop as it falls to the ground. There are a plethora of Supply Drops in the Team Rumble LTM.

Eliminations at Salty Springs or Haunted Hills (0/3)

To get these done quickly, we recommend doing them in Solos or Duos. You can do them in the Team Rumble LTM, however, it may take longer. You can bet that these locations will be popular all week long. If you are having trouble, try landing outside of the location and moving in once things have died down a bit.

Battle Pass Challenges

Stage 1 of 3 – Gain health from Apples (0/25)

This is the most difficult challenge of the week and will take some time to complete. We recommend completing this in the Team Rumble LTM, and doing so passively as you play. The campfire and med kit challenges will take the longest.

  • Stage 2 of 3 – Use Campfires (0/50)
  • Stagte 3 of 3 – Use Medkits (0/75)
    • This is a very difficult challenge. Assuming that you are able to use four Medkits a round, it will take 19-rounds of play to complete this challenge.

Visit the furthest North, South, East, and West points of the island. (0/4)

This is an interesting challenge that would be pretty fun to complete without the aid of a map. We’ve made one for you anyway. Complete this in the Team Rumble LTM for maximum speed. Those who typically land in Snobby Shores and Lucky Landing will have a busy week as players swarm these locations.

Deal damage to opponents with a Pirate Cannon (0/100)

This is going to prove to be a difficult challenge for many. Hitting players with the pirate cannon isn’t the easiest task. It’s hard to manuever and the aim is slow. Furthermore, we recommend completing this challenge in the Team Rumble LTM. You can find cannons at any Pirate Camp. All Pirate Camp locations are marked on the map below.

Search a Chest in different Named Locations in a single match (0/3)

Do this one in the Team Rumble LTM also. We’ll need to land at different named locations (Paradise Palms, Lucky Lagoon, etc.) and find a chest in each in a single match. To further elaborate, we recommend finding chests in named locations that won’t be as popular this week. Prime canidates would be Happy Hamlet, Frosty Flights, and Polar Peak.

If you still haven’t completed all of the first week’s challenges, be sure to check out our Season 8 Week 1 Challenge guide. Check back in with Fortnite Bunker next Thursday for a complete breakdown of all weekly challenges.
